CEMETERY RULES & REGULATIONS

• Flower beds may not exceed 12 inches from the stone/memorial.
• Shrubs of any kind are not permitted.
• No memorial markers (stones) shall be placed without prior approval of the Cemetery Director.
• Pick up after pets and dispose of the waste.
• Cemetery personnel have the right to remove dead flowers and faded or broken mementos.
• Spring cleanup begins on April 1st.
• Fall cleanup begins on Oct. 1st.

• A Grave  is defined as a single burial location. A Plot is defined as a group of graves together.
• Each grave measures 10 feet long by 3 feet wide. Multiply this by the number of graves you have purchased to equal your plot size.
• Each grave will hold one full body or three cremations.
• Dimensions of a full body burial are 8 feet long by 3 feet wide.
• Dimensions of a cremation burial are 15" X 15" X 24" high.

• Memorial stones and markers come in a variety of sizes, colors, and styles
• Stones must be purchased through a private retail company.

• Please notify the retail company how many plots you own.
• All upright and slant stones will be installed by the company of purchase. Flat markers are installed by cemetery personnel.
• Stones can not exceed the width of your plot. There must be a minimum 6 inches on either side of the stone. Stones will be centered over your grave or plot.
• Military stones are available to those who have served. This information is available from your funeral director.
• All upright stones have a front and back side to them.
  • Front—Family name only
  • Back—Individual list of names and date of death.
• If you are looking at the front of the stone (Family Name) you are standing on top of your grave/plot.

• Landscaping may not exceed 12 inches from the stone marker.
• No shrubs or trees are allowed.
• Cemetery personnel are not responsible for weeding, mulching or caring for your garden space.
• Cemetery personnel do their best not to upset any gardening or mementos.
• Decorative items that are left need to be designed for outdoor use. Food items are not allowed since they attract wildlife.
